There are two caveats. I bet you can name one.

No, I would gladly permit that. In fact, if you come to my wedding celebration next month, you will see a grand demonstration of such! You are close enough: I could recall the weapon at any point I choose, since it is part of my essence. There would be no fun in that, though.

The second caveat, is that for me to bestow a weapon upon someone for more than quick use, I need something in trade. My usual request is devotion.

How do you ensure that devotion? Devotion how? Like, I worship you now?

I have to know the weapon. Hold it in my own hands, study it, observe how it works, dismantle it and reassemble it. And I cannot mimic certain properties — atomic weapons, grenades, blades that kill certain entities.

A simple way is to use my name in battles, and devote your efforts to me. I have an adherent [ armand <3 ] who serves me with acts of submission and obedience. But, that is what we share. I do not ask that of everyone.

You do not have to be a poet about it, you just need to mean it. I am giving up part of myself for longer than a day or two, I want to know that I am paid my due.
